 Another farmers protest against the three farm’s law

    “Kisaan Sansad” formed by farmer union to protest against the three agri laws passed by the centre. It was held at Jantar Mantar near parliament in Delhi. It was said by one of the union that, 200 farmers will come from sindhu border to Jantar Mantar from onwards 22 July. Farmer leader told that there will be three sessions of “Sansad” . Six members have been selected for speaker and deputy speaker. In the first session, farmer leaders Hannah Mollah and Manjeet Singh were selected for the posts. Another leader Shiv Kumar kakkad told that, We discussed about the Sansad with Police, they told us to decrease the members of Sansad, but we promised them that these will be the peaceful protest. He also said that, the main reason behind this Sansad is to show the parliament that farmer’s agitation is still alive. 

        One of the Bharatiya Kisaan union told that, government has to accept our demands. Government will pass a motion on the cancellation of the three farm laws. Farmer leader Hannah Mollah said that, “At the 'Kisan Sansad', we will discuss about the three farm laws we are fighting against. These black laws were passed without any discussion in Parliament. We will reject these laws through the 'Kisaan Sansad’”. During the Sansad media persons were not allowed to enter, and for the permission to enter in Sansad there is I’d cards. This Sansad is the biggest demonstration of democracy that the country has ever witnessed. In this Kisaan Sansad the women’s are involved protesting at three borders of Delhi, Singhu, Tikri for eight months against the three agri laws passed by the centre. The Mahila Kisaan Sansad will play the reflect role in these protest, Convoys of women farmers from various districts are reaching the morchas for the Mahila Kisaan Sansad. The farmers have been protesting the farmer’s produce trade, the farmer’s agreement of Price Assurance and Farm service act and the Essential commodities. Some participants also stated about unconstitutional Nature of the laws, the undemocratic processes by which the government brought them in, and the serious implications that the law will have on farm livelihood. Union agriculture minister said that talks will take place with the protesting farmers if their  demands are fair enough, and their issues should point- wised discussed in a human way.
