NATIONAL CONFERENCE LEADER FOUND DEAD

67-year-old Trilochan Singh Wazir, former member of Jammu and Kashmir legislative council and National Conference leader was found dead on Thursday morning in a flat in Basai Darapur area of West Delhi. His decomposed body was identified by one of his acquaintances.
Singh, who came to Delhi on September 2nd had to leave for Canada soon.
Both teams of police and FFL was present at the spot and are continuing with the search.
He was also the president of Jammu and Kashmir Transport Union. Singh was very close to former chief minister of J&K Farukh Abdullah and Omar Abdullah. He was arrested and kept in prison for a few years due to his involvement in Chopra Hatya Kand but was released by the court.
Omar Abdullah has expressed his grief by tweeting, “Shocked by the terrible news of the sudden death of my colleague Sardar T. S. Wazir, ex member of the Legislative Council. It was only a few days ago that we sat together in Jammu not realising it was the last time I would be meeting him. May his soul rest in peace.”
