75th Year Of Independence Of India - Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

The official journey of Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav started on 12th March 2021 and will be carried on till 15th August 2023 as a 75-week countdown.

This Mahotsav is completely dedicated to people who have given their input in bringing India this far in its developmental journey and enabled our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The 75th Year does call for a huge celebration. Isn't it ?

This day is celebrated to revoke the feeling of nationalism and patriotism across the country. Every Indian citizen has their own way of celebrating this day. Youngsters are more focused on talking about the glory and strength of our country while senior citizens talk about the atrocities people had to face during that period.

For almost 2 centuries Britishers ruled over us and treated us like servants until freedom fighters like Subhash Chandra bose, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Chandra Shekhar Azad and Bhagat singh gathered the spirit of freedom amongst us. Some of these picked violence and some picked non violence as a tool but the main aim was to make India free from the clutches of the British Raj. And on 15th August 1947 we got Independence.

To celebrate this eventful day our Prime Minister and President will hoist our flag at Red Fort and after that 21 shots will be fired in the honor of this prestigious occasion. Some cultural activities will take place and a parade of all our India Forces will be held.

Our ancestors and freedom fighters have given a lot of sweat and blood for the freedom we are enjoying today.
