Swayam (Study-Webs of active learning for Young Aspiring Minds). This platform was developed by AICTE in 2016 to provide quality education free of cost and available to everyone with equity, quality and access. All the courses are prepared by interactive and best teachers. More than 1,000 students are enrolled in these courses. Swayam certificates are recognized by various institutions such as NIOS, AICTE, and more.
After you download it, you can find a variety of courses and earn credits on some of the courses, which will be transferred to your academic record.
Every individual is eligible to enroll himself or herself in these courses, at free of cost. But, those who are willing to hold certificates need to register themselves for the final examinations which will of course cost you but, at an accessible cost.
Since,it is an online platform the exams are held semester wise in a computer based format that is, CBT or through computer.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for conducting exams of SWAYAM. SWAYAM has all courses from standard nine to post graduation.
